I began writing one imprisoned person, and it brought me so much information and knowledge that I now write 25 people in California, Wisconsin and New York State. Believe me you will get as much out of writing others and they get out of hearing from you. As a bipolar person I have learnt that those imprisoned who read, keep abresty of news, who fight the legal system, show true corage and people labeled as mentally ill such as myself have found the secret to staying in recovery.. think of others and do for others and have a sense of humor. I am 74, married 51 years and I just matriculated aty a community college in Brooklyn majoring in criminal justice. I want to end solitary confinement and allow felons the right to vote while incarcerated.
